Originally developed by Dr. Carl Osborne at the Univ. of Minnesota, KVP Urethral Catheters feature highly polished stainless steel to facilitate atraumatic urethral catheterization and lavage, while the blunt olive tip prevents damage to urethral tissue during insertion of the catheter into the distal urethral orifice and reverse lavage of the urethral lumen. Choose from 3 lengths for the most appropriate size to aid in the removal of intraluminal precipitates at different locations within the urethra. Catheters can be re-sterilized and include general guidelines for reverse flushing of obstructed male feline urethras.
